What is Dry Ice Cleaning?

The simple explanation is:

  • Dry ice pellets are shot at high velocity through a gun aimed at a surface to be cleaned.

  • The dry ice pellets sublimate on contact with the surface.

  • Dirt and grime freeze, shrink, and release from the surface being cleaned.

Our equipment, training, and hundreds of hours of experience enable us to provide a Safe and Superior service for our customers.

We use a group of equipment specifically assembled for dry ice cleaning vehicles. This includes dry ice machines which are completely variable in air pressure and ice particle size. We are in control of the cleaning process. Similar to the Detailing portion of our business, we continue to learn about new innovations, and work directly with industry experts. This approach benefits our clients and their vehicles.

We are Dryce supported.

Vehicle Underside/Wheel Wells

We charge an hourly rate of $250/hour.

Allow us to clean the underside, suspension components, and exhaust components all while preserving factory chalk/grease pen markings, and labels.

*The time it will take to clean a vehicle is dependent upon vehicle condition and goals for the vehicle.

Alcantara/Suede Components

Starting at $250.

One of the best kept secrets of dry ice cleaning! Alcantara or suede components end up clean, soft, and looking new and “fuzzy” again after dry ice cleaning. It’s a one step process to achieve a clean, like new look for your interior trim.

Engine Bay

Starting at $250.

This service results in a restorative clean. Plastic and rubber components become a rich black color, metal components are not discolored by chemicals or scrubbing.

No water, chemicals, dressings, or abrasive processes are used. Just one step to get the engine bay incredibly clean.

Wheels & Tires

Starting at $250.

We’re able to remove “tire bloom”, old tire dressings, tar, asphalt debris, and old wheel weight stickers. The process leaves tires with a natural, like-new look, and wheels that are incredibly clean.

This is a great process to use before we apply one of our protective ceramic coatings to a set of wheels.

How Does It Work?

How Does It Work?

There is a three-phase process in Dry Ice Cleaning.

  • Kinetic Energy - Dry ice particles moving at high speed making contact with a surface. This is a non-abrasive process.

  • Thermal Shock - Since dry ice is about -110 degrees Fahrenheit, a rapid freezing and thawing of surface contaminates occurs.

  • Rapid Expansion - While you can’t see it, dry ice expands over 800 times. As the dry ice particles hit the surface, mini explosions occur. The pressurized air that is propelling the dry ice particles, assists in pushing the surface contaminates from the surface. The dry ice then sublimates leaving no residue behind.
