What is Paint Correction?

Paint correction is a process used to restore the shine, smoothness, and clarity of a vehicle’s paint. It involves removing minor scratches, swirls, hazing, and other imperfections that can occur over time. These imperfections can be caused by things like:

  • improper washing techniques

  • automatic car washes

  • using dirty towels or wash mitts

  • exposure to harsh sunlight or chemicals

Before starting the process of Paint Correction we carefully analyze the paint visually, by touch, and with a paint meter. We then choose the best approach to use in order to get the paint looking amazing. A multi-stage process produces the best results. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to paint correction, so we carefully choose our approach with each vehicle we have the pleasure of working on.

Here are some of the benefits of paint correction:

  • Restores the shine and gloss of the paint

  • Makes the paint look richer and deeper in color

  • Removes scratches, swirls, and other imperfections

  • Ensures a nice paint surface ahead of a wax or ceramic coating

  • Begin Here.

Before a wax or coating is applied to your vehicle’s paint, it’s important to perform paint correction.

  • Buffing to a shine.

Paint Correction is a process which is time consuming and requires patience.

  • Protect it.

After Paint Correction, it’s important to choose a protectant for your paint. From traditional Waxes, to Ceramic Coatings, we’ve got you (and your paint) covered.

The result is shiny paint with depth and gloss, which is protected from the elements.

  • Enjoy!

A vehicle that has been protected is much easier to keep clean, and looks great once clean again.

You’ll have other drivers on the road checking out your clean vehicle!
