At first glance, this car simply looks like a shiny black Porsche 911. There is much more than meets the eye in the case of this 964-generation 911. Our client chose to import the car from Stuttgart Germany in 2024 due to the fact that it had such a unique specification.
The paint is a color called Schwartz Metallic, which has a bit of a copper hue in direct light. The metallic in the paint and the copper hue really stood out after we performed a multi-stage paint correction and added a professional graphene ceramic coating.
To the uninitiated, the 18” Fuchs-style 5 spoke wheels are a nod to the prior 911 generation, the “G-Series” 911. With the outside of the car looking truly stunning, we moved on to cleaning the bespoke interior.
Many unexpected, but very tasteful elements are found in the interior of the car as well. A smaller than stock MOMO steering wheel is the first thing the driver sees once situated in the alcantara trimmed Recaro Pole Position seats. The interior is clearly upscale and it’s easy to find elements of the motorsport inspired styling, such as alcantara trim throughout the cabin, aftermarket seats, racing harness anchor points, and a very neatly integrated roll cage. We performed a clean up of the interior including vacuuming, wiping down hard surfaces, making sure the alcantara was clean, and being sure the glass was impeccable.
We should also mention that to go along with the motorsport inspired features we’ve already mentioned, the car can back up the looks. It has a Clubsport 3.8 Liter Flat-6 engine, mated to a 6-Speed manual transmission sourced from a 996-generation 911.
It’s safe to say that this car was built for performance, handling, and to those who know what to look for, style. It’s a simple, yet stunning example of an early 90’s 911, and we greatly enjoyed spending time to help preserve the car.
