Our friends at German Auto Service recently had their “parts runner” BMW wagon wrapped with a very eye-catching design. They wondered the best way to protect the exterior surface, and make the car a bit easier to maintain. We suggested that a ceramic coating would be a great way to protect the wrap.
The car ended up in the studio where we were able to inspect it further. We noted that some of the vehicle still has the exposed factory gray metallic paint showing as well. Taking that into consideration, we carefully performed paint decontamination and paint correction to get rid of swirls and imperfections. We used a graphene ceramic coating on the painted areas of the car, and a ceramic coating specifically developed for wraps and PPF on the wrapped areas of the car. The exterior turned out great, and our trained eyes even felt that the wrap was more vibrant after the ceramic coating had been applied.
After the exterior was done, we cleaned up the interior a bit with a thorough cleaning of the dashboard and center console areas, vacuuming the carpets, and cleaning and conditioning the leather seats.
The results speak for themselves, and the car speaks volumes as it’s cruising down the road. Take a good look at the design of the custom wrap!
